All your favorite crazy Spooges will be performing at this final goodbye party to the coolest friend and rock-n-roll icon that ever roamed the streets of Seattle: SLATS! The Spooges join Pain Cocktail (Slats’ old band), Hot Roddin’ Romeos and Midnight Creep for an evening of raucous rock-n-roll. All proceeds from this benefit will go to Slats’ fabulous mother. Come and join us! Go wild! But look out cuz there’s a Long Island Ice Tea drink special (yikes!) Hope to see you there! Me with the handsome Vince Mira Hey you all – if you want to come see a fellow who is going to be a gigantic star in the not-too-distant future, come see this 17-year-old wunderkind, Vince Mira. He has one AMAZING and GIGANTIC voice (makes me joyfully envious!). He’s a modern (and very cute) version of those fantastic legends of country… such as Johnny Cash, who he has been likened to. I am honored to be singing a Johnny/June Cash duet with him at this show. Gonna be a BLAST! Lots of other great guest singers too – Billy Joe Huels of the Dusty 45s, Kirk Huffman of Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground, Marshall Scott Warner, Nick Streeter and Kerry Zettel of See Me River , and other fab folks.
