I love rhythm… both the musical kind, and just the rhythm of life. I am constantly surprised by this strange adventure of living. Just when I think I (somewhat) ‘get it,’ I am shown something altogether new and fascinating: It could be an incredible person that I have just met who instantly becomes a treasured friend; or the hummingbird that keeps pausing in mid-air at my window to observe me EVERY time I begin composing music; it could be the fact that an entire song will appear in my mind seemingly out of the blue, with all the lyrics and changes and instrumentation complete; it could be an extreme experience that puts my mettle to the test (and thankfully – so far – I have come out alive from those experiences!).
